Everyone knows how Joe is against spoiling television shows and such for people.
Well he told my girlfriend something that was going to happen on Buffy that wasn't happening for another 10 episodes or so.
FOR SHAME!
Sure he thought it had already happened...but still...
FOR SHAME!

P.S. I'm not going to let him live this one down

I'm very sorry! My hatred for Riley just made me automatically assume that he was out of there before he was. And really, it's a good thing. What if she thought Riley was going to be there for the rest of the series? Wouldn't that just bum her out?
